Re: which gloves to get

got the new gloves today. the MotoGP Nitrous. they look awesome. they're a little bulky but not heavy (the carbon fiber must keep the weight down ) They are a little big even if they are a small (8). They do need some breaking in though, especially around the knuckles. I think I did around 75-80 miles with them today, some continuous riding a then into Boston for some stop and go. The inside of the hands are breaking in pretty quick (cause there's not as much material there as opposed to the top of the hand.

If I had to choose between those two, I'd get the Teknic Lightning Pro Gloves. I like how they look and they seem to offer more protection (at least on paper).

Re: which gloves to get

yup on paper. reading what the Teknics have (on that page) the MotoGP ones have all that safety stuff too, the extra leather wrapping around the pinky, the flaps that cover the stichting and stuff plus they have a carbon piece that protects the corner bone on the pinky side of the palm at the wrist. In either case both would protect my hands better than my old gloves.
