Adjustable footpeg questions

I'm looking for something to enhance the long-distance comfort of the 929.... adjustable footpegs. I've seen the LP 360's, which would probably do the trick nicely, but they're out of production now.

My questions:

1) If I were to use something like that to lower the pegs, would it make it difficult to use the shifter or brake normally?

2) Does anyone have a pair of LP 360's for sale or know where I can get a pair?

3) Are there other manufacturers of pegs I can lower by about 1/2" to 1" without spending $300-$400 on new rearsets?
