I bought the AGV Apache 2pc from Kneedraggers earlier this year and I think it's an excellent suit. When I called AGV Sports the person told me that the quality of my suit was the same as the Aegis, so I'm sure you'll like it.

The only thing I didn't like is the $62 brokerage fee that UPS charged me... * which is why I'm boycotting UPS. (money grubbing p&%*of$@%f*^%#@ sh*$t@&*@ss&^!#ba^%t$*rds...)

I'm ok now...

but seriously it's a great deal and good quality.

I like the gunmetal one the best. It looks like a great suit. Only problem is that I can't locate a shop in the Bay Area that carries them so I could try one on.

The Aegis suit is a great suit. They rank above most one piece suits, except Dainese. This statement is from the UK magazine MCN!!! The suit runs pretty true to size and if you give AGV Sport a call I'm sure they will be more than happy to help you out. 1-800-777-7006

I got it and love it. Its not custom but it feels very good, and the liner is removable.

Unless I missed it, they dont tell you the leather thickness.

How ####ing frustrating! I don't want to order the aegis suit online before I have a chance to try it on to fit. I live in the SF/Bay Area and nobody seems to carry it in stock. MAybe I'm not looking hard enough but I've already called 5 places, including AGV themselves.

I had a small get off with it you can't see any damage when you look at the suit, but my buddy has the same suit and lowsided at Buttonwillow it looks like it held up well. I will tell him to post some picks of it, and I will look at the leather thickness.

Anyone know know if these suits are made by corner?I just ask because i own 3 agv suits,2 are made by corner(very high quality) and 1 is not(lesser quality).

The suit went up in price. I guess they had a typo or something.

No one seems to have any available. Parts Unlimited's the distributor and there's no ETA on when they'll be shipping any more.

It's a handsome looking suit too.

I'm trying to find one sooner than Spring. motodude's Technic one now has a couple holes in it - and they're not for venting.
