Re: V2 Speedscreen vs Double Bubble

Just wanted to know what experiences anyone has had with these shields. I heard some people having some problems with the V2 sheild breaking easily. Is this true? Let me know, I'm looking for one for the 929 and want to make sure which one is better before I do.....Thanks

Re: V2 Speedscreen vs Double Bubble

I have had both on my 929. My V2 snapped the end of the screen off when it was dropped on the trailer. The screen wasn't even impacted I don't think, but the shock snapped it. My ZG shield seems to be of much better quality. I took a 100MPH tumble through the grass and the screen cracked from the stresses placed on it when the nose of the bike hit the ground, but it all held together (I added some duct tape to seal the crack and still use it). The V2 is a good screen, but it just seems a little more brittle than the ZG, which makes it easier to crack.

Re: V2 Speedscreen vs Double Bubble

i've had a V2 for over two years now with no problems. *i switch screens (for filming and trackdays) quite often and the V2 is holding up very well.
