How To Care For Leathers

Hi All,

So I now have a two piece Joe Rocket leather suit. Apparently these items are pretty waterproof (correct me if I am wrong).

What I want to know is if I do get soaked one day, how should I care for the leathers. I have heard of using Dubbin or some such as a way of making them more water resistant, but alternatively told not to worry about Dubbin and just use a leather moisturiser after the leathers get wet (after they dry out I guess).

Any comments on what you have found works would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave aka ICHSNOO

Re: How To Care For Leathers

Your leathers aren't waterproof at all.

Dubbin has Silicone which'll give it some water resistance. Mink Oil is the same stuff without Silicone.
