Re: Arai Corsair

Just wanted to share with you guys and gals the lid I got when I won that contest. *So far coming from my RX-7RR4 I see a big difference. *Less noisy and a *bit lighter then the R4 is. *Still not as quiet as the Shoei had but for free, I ain't gonna complain.

All you'll need to do is get a big enough sticker to cover up 'DAN' on the back...that is unless of course your name is Dan also

that helmet would match your avatar real well. did you win the bike also? if so, then that would be you on 600rr.net.

freq: Yep I'm 'That guy'. Hated by 89,999 people nation wide. I have gotten rid of both my 600RR and the ZX-6R for what you see in my Avatar. Yes it does match my 954 quite nicely. There are two reasons why I got the leftover silver/black. 1) I know three other guys that have the other three colors. 2) It matches my helmet...hehe.

No. He won the 'Dude for Day' contest. Got a 636 out of the deal. When the called him up and said 'you won' he was like 'uuuhhh, I have a 600rr'. It was pretty funny.

Re: Arai Corsair

I did a search for 'dude for day' but no results found. What the heck is it? Obviously I have never heard of it.

Re: Arai Corsair

Speed Channel ran a contest..'The Dude for a Day'. It ran for six weeks and each week Greg White would give you the code word to go to their website and enter. You could enter once a week for the six weeks it ran. In the end I won the GRAND PRIZE which included an 03' ZX-6R, a Kawi racing jacket a free trip to the WSBK and AMA races at Laguna Seca, and a #### load of free stuff from Speed Channel and Kawi. The whole thing was paid for including my hotel, rental car, race tickets, plane ride and such. Oh yeah I was able to bring a friend. It was by far the best weekend of my life. Met all kinds of awesome people and racers. Got to hang with E-Boz. Went in the VIP pit suites for a whole day, got a lap around the track on the ZX, got to ride in the pace car. As a total surprise to me they gave me the custom helmet done by Offbeat productions. I had just bought my 600RR and was having a very hard time deciding which one I wanted to keep. SOOOOOOOO.....I got rid of them both and got my 954. I'm sure there is some stuff I missed but there's the quick run down of it for ya.
