Re: Women's leather jackets

I'm looking to buy my wife a jacket as a present. I like the quality of the Alpinestars and am leaning towards either the V4 or the Dyno jacket. Any other suggestions out there. What about the Icon Daytona Neo jacket? anybody have experience with the Icon line?

thanks

The Alpinestars stuff is good. I think Vanson also makes women's jackets, so you may want to check them out as well. Happy shopping!

Fieldsheer also makes lots of women's jackets. I currently have a Joe Rocket and love it.

Re: Women's leather jackets

Alpinestars and Vanson makes quality stuff. Ikon and Joe Rocket are more bargain basement (for lack of a better word) type stuff by comparison. Techincs and Fieldsheer are more mid-grade stuff. All my opinion, though. I wear RSTaichi...they make jackets too, don't know if they have women's sizes, though. Spidi makes women't sizes...I think Dainese does too.

Is the jacket a surprise?

Re: Women's leather jackets

I had an Alpinestars Dyno jacket and it was very well made. Thick leather, good protection.
I tried on the Icon jacket and though that was also pretty well made too. I don't know about the protection though.

Re: Women's leather jackets

Thanks for the responses, everyone. Right now, I'm leaning towards an Alpinestars jacket, since I've had a good experience with them.
Now, I need to make sure I get the right size. I just might have to bring her into a store, and then order it online.
