I forget the brands.... (it was so long ago)
But I have the bright yellow and the bright orangey ones... both cone shaped ... bought a second bulk pack after misplacing the first pack...

thanks for the correction on the lyrics. I always thought it was a little weird "like I'm black." I wondered, is that like dwb? Quote:

I liked the 33db better. Howard Leight | Bilsom Hearing Portal the ones I tried are Max and Laser Lite although they came with a different name. the Laser Lites were called Lite sleepers but they are the same thing.
as far as comfort try pulling your ear up towards the back of your head when you're putting them in. read that on the instructions and it helps a lot. Quote:

My kids love the video/song..... my 4 year old sings (loudly) the wrong lyrics out all the time

| Re: I need a quite Helmet Howard Leight "Laser Lites" are my favorite foam plugs, and I've tried many, many foam plugs and even a set of customs. The bright pink and yellow 'lites fit me the best. |

| Re: I need a quite Helmet I have owned a lot of helmets but I must say the most quiet is my Vega Nitro MC-5 Full Face unless the vents are open. I know its kind of a baby brand compared to your helmet greats, shoei etc. but its a great helmet from my experience. So good I bought one for my passenger. |

I thought the same way you did until I started wearing them... now its just flat out annoying to ride w/o them.... Especially at the track!
They're really cheap if you buy em in bulk and well worth the price... you only get two ears!

It's absolutely amazing what a set of foam plugs does. You still hear what you need to hear. (Your engine and exhaust noise, traffic noise, passenger conversation) but most of the wind noise is blocked. |

| Re: I need a quite Helmet If I had the cash I'd buy the Shoei RF1000. But since I don't i bought a Scorpion EXO700... a very quiet helmet.
So far i have not felt the need for earplugs, but may give them a try. I guess most of the reason being I like to hear a lot of what's going on with the bike and my surroundings. |

| Re: I need a quite Helmet I have a Shoei X-11 and I think it's pretty quiet... the aerodynamics are amazing. That being said, I tried the ear-plug recommendation and I LOVE IT. I can't believe I haven't thought of that before. Cheap w@lm@rt brand orange foam. Perfect. Thanks for the advice o-wise-ones. |

| Re: I need a quite Helmet "The Helmet Shop" in Daytona recomended the Shoei RF1000 too. I have a HJC and riding my touring bike I have very little noise but on the crotch rocket it is really loud! I have tried ear plugs as well but would prefer just to slap on a helmet and go. |
