| Re: Need help with my gloves! *Here's a pic of them (well, one of them) and I don't remember what model they are. *Question is, are there any tricks to stretching the leather at certain points, other than just wearing them? *The worst spot is where the arrow points - the armor at that point becomes irritatingly tight and leaves a red mark near my thumb joint. *Also a little tight at the point of the wrist strap. *And the wrist straps are fugging useless, as they are not long enough to attach when over my leathers. *Without attaching, in the event of a crash, I think they could be easily pulled off my hands. *Any ideas?! *TIA!
What a pinhead! *Forgot to attach the pic * * Here it is.

| Re: Need help with my If you can't cinch down the wriststrap over your leathers you should probably replace them. Without the strap, your gloves could easily come off in a crash...

| Re: Need help with my How long have you had them? My last set of gloves were kind of tight and it took about a month of riding before they really broke in and became comfortable. Now the strap on the wrist part I don't know what to do. Maybe wet them down in that area and put a shoe strecher in them or something. |

| Re: Need help with my I've actually only worn these for a total of about 300 - 400 miles - and I got them last Christmas . Mostly been wearing my lighter duty pair 'cause they're more comfortable, but afford way less protection. I guess I'm just looking for 'instant gratification', a way to pre-stretch the bastids. I've thought about wetting the leather and shoving something in there while they dry, but I wasn't sure whether or not that really works |

| Re: Need help with my Contact cleaner. I think it was contact cleaner that I used to use to stretch my gloves. Granted these were all leather work gloves. I would put them on and spray them down. Work my hands, making fists while they were wet. It does dry pretty quick and doesn't leave any oily substance or anything. I don't know what it would do to those types of gloves though. Good luck. |

thebackdraft : Contact cleaner.
| Thanks for the tip but, contact cleaner?! Some of those solvents have some nasty ingredients that are rapidly absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream. Do you have 2 heads or anything - that would be the 'big' head? |

Maybe that's what's wrong with me. I cannot remember for sure. |
