Re: Full Gear Full gear all the time now , one or two peice leathers , back protector ,the lot. The one and only time I didn't I crashed on a country lane on a Sunday morning, wearing thin jacket , jeans and combat boots. There is nothing like looking at your leg full of gravel and knowing that your boot should not be in that shape and why does it feel warm and wet inside. Then it dawns on you that no ones around to help you and you have to crawl about a mile to find help.Three months in casts and reconstruction of foot and ankle and four months of physio. If I had worn all my gear that day I would have just walked away , now I just limp away.

Re: Full Gear Never full gear as far as the leather pants go. Leather Icon jacket, either text Field Sheer, or Joe Rocket, 4 pair of the Shift Torque jeans, Teknic Speedstar gloves, and either Icon Super Duty 3 boots or the Teknic Hurricane boots. Oh yeah the lid too (Shoei x11)

Re: Full Gear The only leather pants I have used to belong to a shorter fatter person than me so I don't wear them all the time, but the few times I went without jacket or gloves I felt kinda naked and went around much more cautiously. In Minnesota I rented a bike for a day and the idea of a full face helmet was completely foreign to them so I had to settle for a stupid beanie and was paranoid the whole time.
