| Re: looking for second-hand helmet Best advice is to buy any helmet new. Helmets are meant to only be used for one fall. The foam inside acts as the cushion to help in a fall. Once it is compressed, that's it. It doesn't go back to original shape. Many helmets (which have both dot and snell approval) can be purchased for around $120 usd. |
