| Scorpion EXO-700 CrackHead helmet ???? Hey all,
I am planning on purchasing a helmet pretty soon. I looked online and seem to like the Scorpion EXO-700 CrackHead helmet. So far i like it because of its looks and because of it's features. It is Dot and Snell approved.
The thing is that the price is not as high as the other well know helmets (arai,shoei...).
So is Scorpion EXO-700 CrackHead helmet a good choice for comfort, reliability, convenience and price?
Any suggestions on what to look for in helmets?
thanks in advance |

| Re: Scorpion EXO-700 CrackHead helmet ???? I have that exact helmet. I bought it with my CBR when I bought it new. I liked it, especially with a moderately tinted lens. I now have the Scorpion EXO-1000 and love it as well. Good choice and nice price for DOT and SNELL. |

| Re: Scorpion EXO-700 CrackHead helmet ???? i know a couple people who have the scorpions and love them, you can't beat them for the price, but i imagine someone will chime in shorty about how much is your head worth.. personally if the fit and finish is good, and you are moderately knowledged about helmets, you'll pick one that works for you. |

| Re: Scorpion EXO-700 CrackHead helmet ???? Well how much is your head worth?? JK. If it fits you properly and is comfortable go for it. I've never heard a complaint about a 700. |

| Re: Scorpion EXO-700 CrackHead helmet ???? I liked them a lot until I tried some on over the weekend. The Large was just a bit too loose, and the Med was definitely too tight on my temples. I was bummed. The Large was quite comfortable, but after breaking in, would have been too big.
There's no substitute for trying on before you buy.
Although I will add, the 400, 700, and 1000 all fit my head identically. Lots of other brands will have diff shapes for diff models. |
