Was curious to see other peoples opinions about the puma 1000 boot. I have a pair of version 1 in ther copper. was a lil wierd at 1st since they were my first pair of riding specific boots. only problem was the "kevlar" retaining strap at the back. frayed on both boots but the importer just fixed em for me and even just dropped em into work for me.

I wanted to try them but:
a. they were unobtainium at my Cycle Gear store
b. far more money than the Alpinestars boots I bought instead.

I think they are one of the best boots out there right now.

I was gonna try them also. But bought Sidi's instead.
