Textiles advice needed UK only please

Guys Im in need of some textiles so that I can go on long trips.
Protection is also important, of course warmth and dryness is important.
Two piece

Ok what do you recommend and is the advice based on personal experience?

If anyone knows of a good internet site where gear is tested Because I cant find one

I've used a Richa suit for the past 6 years. Tempest jacket and Monsoon trousers, I think. Very comfortable and warm. Totally dry too; had 2 12 hour days of pouring, and I mean pouring, rain riding through Wales and it wouldn't leak! Paid £200 for it at the NEC.
Mate has an Akito Python suit that he swears by. J&S Accessories do a good selection, there's bound to be a branch near you.

According to Ride magazine, their 'Best Buy' is the Weise Dynastar II / Psycho suit, £200 for the jacket and £110 for the trousers - weise-clothing.co.uk. The 'Recommended' suit is the Hein Gericke Master V GTX Proshell, from Hein Gericke obviously... weighing in at £500 for the jacket and £350 for the trousers.

HTH.

Setanta - I've got the Hien Gerrick ones.
They are quite expensive - the new pro shell ones are as much as a set of decent leathers, but they are pretty good.
Gortex is guaranteed for 10 years and they say if it leaks AT ALL just bring it back and they'll change it.
I got the set down for this jacket and trousers for about £500. I wear them all year round and ride every day. Def worth a look.

Hi Setanta, our lass got me some Richa pants and jacket and i gotta say i was quite impressed with em. I don't think the armour is the best (but that can be changed) and i.ve had no problems with leaks or wear. Probably not the kit i'd have chosen but no complaints
