Windjammer

I've always thought my Quantum was a little on the noisy side, but have simply put my ear plugs in and ignored it because of the fantastic fit of Arai lids. Still, I've been looking for a curtain of some sort and think I may have stumbled across a good find.

I just ordered one of these:

Should make a nice stocking stuffer for myself, eh?

Re: Windjammer

I got my Windjammer in the mail today. Talk about quick service! I ordered this baby online from Proline Sports on November 30th and it arrived today. (Had to come from the UK!)

I haven't "test ridden" my lid with the Windjammer fitted, too cold for that of course (it's about 30 and blowing pretty hard here). It seems the WJ will work as advertised though, because it fits snugly around your neck and really makes the helmet feel "sealed" to your noggin.

Visor down, the inside of the lid is now cave-like in a way, almost echoing inside when you talk to yourself (not that I talk to myself alot, lol). It doesn't detract from the appearance of the lid either, IMO. In all, I think it's going to be a nice (and cheap) mod that will enhance not only cold weather riding, but long distance travel too (less wind roar even though I wear plugs anyway).

Re: Windjammer

I'm interested in a review, I find my helmets to be a little windy at times, even with the ear plugs
