Never used the brand, but I went buy the store to have a look and they seem well made. Hope it's ok to post link. I'm not affiliated with them, just passing on a good buy. well im going to try on suits tomorrow finally. ive lost enough weight that i shrunk my chest from a 45.5" to 43 and i think i may be between 160 and 170lbs. havent weighed myself because if i do i probably wont lose any more and i still have some belly to burn. i called stg.com and they reccomended i try the speed and strength one piece or rs taichi. according to them with my current measurements a of the rack 42 should work for me, if it doesnt im probably going custom. |

| Re: help shakey shop for a track suit. short people chime in...lol speed and strength didnt go to well
42 did not work couldnt get the zipper past my ribs, chest was just too big. they had me try a 46 cause there was no 44 and way too long. the 42 was just a hair too tight, called stg and another guy there told me a-stars might work for me. still gotta try a 44
re measured myself also sent results to motoliberty who seems to have some good deals and seemed very helpful over the phone...
they are reccomending dainese or rs taichi and sounds like they need to move some inventory.
question is hes offering me a really good deal on dainese laguna seca in yellow but i think black or white would be better. granted my bike is black and yellow but im not trying to over do it. any opinions guys? im normally not a flashy guy either. |

Length wise they are good, remember we are both the same height, not a big deal of difference in weight either. Spada are cheap but dont let that put you off.

| Re: help shakey shop for a track suit. short people chime in...lol dainese and rs taichi are both excellent suits. MotoLiberty is really good to work with, too. My friend bought her suit from them, and even though it's a men's size, they worked with her and got something that fits. Good luck.
We'll have to go for a ride to break it in! |

| Re: help shakey shop for a track suit. short people chime in...lol motoliberty got back to me after sending some measurements. this is what they reccomended
it is the top level for this particular suit for dainese but its there entry level suit looks good. i like it but yellow or white are my options in 56/46 and if i fit dainese 54 black becomes an option. they are telling me to try the 56/46 first as dainese runs small. https://www.motoliberty.com/prod_detail.asp?Prod_ID=424
and
this suit by revit who ive heard of but dont know much about. so off to do some poking around the web this they reccomended a 54/44. actually this suit is $75 more. i really wanna base my decision on quality. https://www.motoliberty.com/prod_det...716&ImgId=2853 |

| Re: help shakey shop for a track suit. short people chime in...lol Ok that (yellow) first one is 1.6 cow cant you find a kangeroo for that price. Didnt read the whole thing cause the colour was making me feel sick ..........sorry.
1200 dols is about £900 I think, well over here you can get a made to measure suit for that price give or take 200 with ur name etc.
if I was going to spend that money Id either go for alpinestar or one of the made to measure peeps here.
But you cant cause you dont live here, surely there are people over your way that will make a suit for YOU
for that price or nearly?????
My Spada cost me £250 and saved my arms legs, neck and my life, it was a brillaint one piece, Im typing this to you because of it

Not that Dainese isn't a good suit. Did MotoLiberty recommend any sizes that would fit you in rs taichi? |

| Re: help shakey shop for a track suit. short people chime in...lol guys the prices are much lower than what you see there. under 800 for dainese and a lil above for the other. i really like the dainese but stumped on white or yellow.
my calves and chest make for a tough match up with rs taichi apparently. barnacle bill is an option but he's still at least $1300
whats good though is im just about done cutting weight
apparently sales must be slow on suits as any shop i have called has offered deals with more off the posted online prices
really would like opinions on white or yellow mind you my blade is black/yellow.

| Re: help shakey shop for a track suit. short people chime in...lol Tough call on the color. The yellow may look good with your bike, unless the yellow is a different shade and clashes, LOL. White is going to get filthy. I used to have a white suit. Both will be cooler in the summer than a black suit, though. |

| Re: help shakey shop for a track suit. short people chime in...lol The yellow Id stay well clear of, because if you trash the bike your going to have to find another yellow one to match your suit. IMHO I think it looks horrible. White as HondaGal says will need a lot of work to keep clean.
That leaves black, well itll blend in nicely with your bike, if you kill it the black suit will still look good with any colour of a new bike. Good one piece suits are well enough vented to keep you cool (ish) in the Summer.
Just what Id do, you may love the yellow, rem your the one spending the money and have to be happy with the choice

| Re: help shakey shop for a track suit. short people chime in...lol yup tough choice indeed. im hoping mike sends me another option that really jumps out at me. oh well. yellow is winning over white based on the clean factor. black is an option for me if i need the smaller suit at 54/44 in dainese. wish i knew more about revit. i watched the review on the laguna suit at stg and was happy with what i saw.
stg says dainese is true to size and motoliberty says it fits one size up. if im a 54/44 get a 46/56. so i feel i have to find a dainese retailer near me. |

setanta
the spada suits look nice and the prices are dirt cheap, are they really good for us short types i may take a gamble for under 500 bucks if the quality is still there. for the slim chance i go custom i may wait till i drop some more weight.
at 5'5" 175lbs 44" chest right now and tryin to drop more but im confident enough to say my chest is not going to shrink anymore. just my mid sections and thats almost under control. you think spada would work for me? |

| Re: help shakey shop for a track suit. short people chime in...lol Shakey, they one I had was really put to the test (unfortunately) and it came up tops. Size wise we are very similar except that you are heavier by about 15 ish pounds which is irrelevant cause you can up a size to me.
Spada took over another company (sorry cant rem who) and its their quality of suits and half the price. Mine was a lovely fit for the bike but a little uncomfortable for walking around.
I would recommend them for a few reasons
1) cheap but good quality
2) Good feeling when riding the bike with nice streatchabiity
3) they look good
4) Because their cheap, if yo do bin the bike early and feck up the suit, you wont mind replacing it (cost wise)
Thats my opinion in regard these suits but you need to go and try them on first, go and see what you think of them first and see how they fit YOU
