Just thought I'd share experience with the Mega Shield Anti Fog Visor Insert. Not a big ticket item I know, but maybe this'll help someone to avoid wasting a few quid. (I couldn't find any info on them before I bought mine.)

I decided to look for an alternative to the Fog City insert as these are pretty expensive for what they are (the best part of £20). So, I searched around on eBay and found these things - £7.50 delivered. Now these visor inserts seem pretty simple to me, what can go wrong I thought?

Well, as with many things, it seems that you get what you pay for. While it worked OK when it was fitted (same as a Fog City), it hasn't managed to stay attached to the visor for very long - a couple of months at best. It seems that the adhesive used might not be up to the job. I cleaned the visor before fitment and have fitted Fog City inserts before with no problems, so I'm pretty sure I did it properly.

So if you're looking for an anti fog insert, I personally would not recommend one of these.
