| Motoboss leather suit? What is everyones opinion on motoboss leather suites, I bought a one piece motoboss mbl4 suite for 379.00 at cycle gear....
One thing bugging me right off is there is a tag on the inside of the suite that states this suite is not protective gear there for has not be tested as such!!!!!!
I called cycle gear and they say that is to avoid lawsuit's.....
Unfortuinetly money is tight right now, with two bikes down in two weeks my wifes and mine bad month.....
Anyinput would be apreciated... |

Hence, the warning that the suit will not guarantee safety in a 150 mph "oopsie". If your arm was pointing in an unatural direction they would say "told ya!". I've seen the motoboss line. They are what they are--inexpensive leathers for the rider who wants some protection but doesn't have the dosh for a "race-bred" full body condom. |

| Re: Motoboss leather suit? I have a friend of mine who uses the Motoboss suit as his race suit. Like many non-pro riders he has had the chance to test his Motoboss against the pavement. It has held up VERY well and shows no real damage aside from a small case of the dreaded rash. He strongly recommends them to those who want good protection yet can't afford that $1200 big brand suit. I hope this helps ease your mind.

Anyinput would be apreciated... | You should read the disclaimers on Skydiving gear...Everything is to the effect "This gear is in no way designed, manufactured, or intended to be used as skydiving gear...bla, bla, bla." Stupid lawyers. |
