| Got my AGV Aegis! UPS delivered 5 minutes before I left for LA and my brother's place. Brought the box along and opened on Christmas AM. I haven't tried it riding yet because I just got back late last night. First impressions are pretty good. I ordered a 48 and it fits well in the chest, gut and shoulders. It's a bit loose in the arms and legs but not bad. It's a keeper, though my goal is to lose another 10 pounds by April. A 46 would have been too small right now. I'm 6', 205. I think the suit looks better in person than in the pics on the web. Seems very comfortable. Leather is as fine as advertised. Heavy in the right places, lighter where comfort demands. Fully perfed. The Aegis looks and feels every bit as good as the suits I've seen at twice the price.
I'll give riding impressions in the next few days. |

The suit fits me comfortably now--a bit tight in the crotch while standing, but it should be. The arms seem the perfect length. It will probably stretch a bit, here and there, with use, which makes me wonder if I should have tried squeezing into a 46. If I were you, I'd try the 48. |

| Re: Got my AGV Aegis! Nice skin saver! I am 6'2" about 230. I mailordered a 48 RHYNO RS1 suit. I was worried until I tried it on.
I was hoping there were of the shelf suits for us 6 footers |

Where did you buy it from? I've been trying to get one for months and no one seems to have one in stock. |

Not the cheapest price, but they did have one in my size. And they have a no questions/no penalty return policy. If you want one, while everybody else is waiting for theirs, check them out. They will verify if your size is in stock. If it isn't, I'd probably go thru one of our forum member retailers as they would give you the best price once they are back in stock. Unfortunately, as you well know, I have not been able to ride test the suit due to the volumes of cold freakin' rain! Jeebus! This isn't Portland! |

Rick | That suit would look mighty nice along with that fine bike of yours, Rick. I can't say enough about the leather quality and the stitching. Only bitch I have has already been mentioned by another blader-- the shoulder armour is not anchored so they flip while putting on the suit. Have heard this happening with an Alpinestars suit as well. Easy fix with needle and thread. Zippers are heavy duty and easy, and I do have space for a decent back protector. Do it!
