Nope. It's kinda hard to tell, but I just overjumped a levee there, and am currently in "panic rev" mode, ass back, to level out since I'm going to land on the flats. Turns out, my new bike jumped a little better than the old stuff I rode there as a kid. I used to take that in fifth gear on my 80! Third on the 250 was too much. The landing wasn't anything worth talking about.

I can't say I have ever heard of that recommended for dirt riding, yeow...Id think it would induce more pain and inseam failures.
