| Re: Women's leather suits I'm sure the hondagals will chime in, but I've seen them in Vanson and RS-Taichi (I think thats what HG had)...
As far as buying them, I think kneedraggers has free returns now on sizing, that'd be the way to go if someone like newenough doesn't have something you like... |

| Re: Women's leather suits Check out the February issue of TWO (Two Wheels Only - Euro cycling mag par excellence). They have a lengthy comparo of women's riding gear. Not quite as good as the new Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, but better than looking at pale crooked-toothed Euro dudes... |

| Re: Women's leather suits Depends on her size, whether or not her proportions will accomodate men's stuff. Mine do not, so I went with a custom Vanson. HG was able to wear off the rack Spidi and RS Taichi, so I'd check those out. I forgot where she purchased them...I'm sure she'll chime in...but she was able to get them, try them on, and return them for a different size with no problems. I think Alpinestars makes some stuff in women's sizes. |

| Re: Women's leather suits Spidi and Alpinestars have women's sizes. The Spidis seem to run a bit on the small side (I used to have one) and I have no idea about the Alpinestars.
I have a RS Taichi suit but it's a men's cut. I don't have I need to have extra room for...if you know what I mean.
HGToo has a Vanson...it was cut to fit as she doesn't have an off the rack women's build.
Your best bet is to have her try on different sizes. Who knows, a men's size may fit her too. |

Such a great thread title and boobie icons and we still haven't seen any pictures to warrant a move to NWS. Please don't tell me I'm the only one that's disappointed |

Also, when I sit on my bike, the cut in the belly area is very baggy.
For wider women, SPIDI's great. But you can't get women's SPIDI in the States - I had to special order mine.
Slimmer women could go with Alpinestars. They're true to size.
Dainese is great. I tried a women's one piece suit, and it fit like a glove. Just perfect (though they tend to run a bit small, I think).
Stay away from Teknic. The leather's quite thin.
IXS is nice, also Tiger Angel if someone in your area carries them. They fit average sized women, like me.
Best bet is to have a custom suit. Helimot, Zooni are well made. (Helimot's a bit pricey).
Try Kneedraggers. I've dealt with them in the past and they were very helpful. |

That's interesting, when I got my Spidi, I got it from Kiernan Racing and didn't have to special order it. Go figure.
Yeah, I know what you mean about the extra room in the front of the women't suits...that's why I wear a men's suit. I don't have long hips or so that cut fits me better. |

| Re: Women's leather suits If money is no object, Kushitani makes quality leathers. They don't make women's specific leathers, but I'm pretty sure they still do custom jobs. It's worth contacting them at least. Kushitani Good luck shopping. |
