shock question

Has anyone revalved and sprung a stock shock? I found a cheap Racetech kit for my gsxr, and I was wondering if a spring and revalve are legitiment options for rear suspension. Any info would be great, thanks

Yes, it is a very good option. I know of some who have went from a revalved shock to an aftermarket shock and haven't noticed any difference. Mostly I'd say it depends on your experience level and what type of riding you do. You'll know once you need to go to an aftermarket shock. IMO, 90% of the riders/racers out there would go just as fast on a revalved shock.
