First YSR50 race weekend of the year.

Had an awesome time again. Ended up with a 2nd and a 4th. One of my buddies won, and got 3rd respectively in those same races.

For anyone who hasn't tried riding one of these things on the tiny little courses they put together man you are missing out. These little 2-strokes are so cool. It's such a blast and teaches you SO much bike handling without a ton of risk or cost. Dollar for dollar enjoyment I would easily stack it against any full sized bike race. There is no horsepower so it's all about lean angle, corner speed, late braking, and conservation of momentum. Plus you don't get all the morons trying to either win or crash trying. There are no egos (hardly any) and people are just out because they love to race these things. Can't say enough good things about it.

Only downer on the weekend was one of my buddies did dislocate his shoulder when he caught a footpeg on the coping but he should be back out relatively soon I hope. Now I can't wait for buttonwillow and my first AFM race next weekend.
