| GP Shift 929?? Any of you guys run GP on the 929/954? I heard you can use the shifter from the VFR800 for GP...any truth in this?
Thanks in advance! |

| Re: GP Shift 929?? You can change to race pattern on an RC using the VFR/Blackbird lever; I think it is the same on the 929/954. I like race pattern a lot better myself.

Thanks in advance! | Yep, but the XX and other VFR/RC30/RC45 shifters will work as well. |

| Re: GP Shift 929?? Many others have used the VFR800 shift lever to run a GP shift pattern. It's an easy and cheap mod to do.

It makes more sense to shift race pattern to me since you probably shift up in a corner more often than you downshift (unless you're fond of highsides) and you'd rather have your foot on top for ground clearance.

| Re: GP Shift 929?? Good point with the shifting exiting corners, I guess the next set of rearsets I get will have to be race pattern. |
