Call Aaron and get set up, you won't be disappointed. Once you do that, order up your fasteners and just about everything else you need at dealers cost.

Re: Dzus fasteners LP may carry them, but Street & Comp has a much more comprehensive selection and can send you the ones that will work the first time.

Re: Dzus fasteners So maybe a stupid question here. Do the Dzus fasteners take the place of ALL the bolts that are used to secure the fairings. Do I still use the bolts that go to the bikes fairings stays? Do I use the Dzus fasters ONLY where the farings connect to each other? Am thinking of using these fasteners with the stock fairings. I do not "race" yet, but do a lot of track days and am looking for an easier way to "strip" the bike down.

Re: Dzus fasteners I used the dzus fasstners but they would start to turn from all the vibration so I started using the rounded bolts with hex style fastners and litlle rubber washers then used well-nuts that are used for windscreens to secure them. Just drill out the holes on the inside part of the fairing and fit the well nut and secure! I actually think it looks cleaner. The only bad thing is that it take a few more seconds to remove but you dont have to worry about losing any clips while on the track.

| Re: Dzus fasteners The Olander Company sells them. But you need to know the part #. They are probably 1/10th the price of a motorcycle shop.

Re: Dzus fasteners I recently changed my body work fastners to some from :: T A S T Y - N U T S :: by Pro-Bolt and they are like the clip style Dzus but have a threaded backing and they are great! I got some Titanium fastners for the too!
