| Broke 6.6 on 1/8th finally It was cold and I had trouble keeping the wheel from spinning, but it locked up good and I finally ran a 6.548, with the help of a 1.695 60'. I only had one other 1.645 60', and that gave me a 6.645 1/8th. but like I said, it was chilly and I had trouble with the tire spinning in first and second. It will be very warm today, so hopefully I can break the 6.6 time some more. My swing arm extensions helped alot. Ready to take them off for some regular riding on Sunday though. |

I had the same problem all last year. I did get a strap for the front and it helped, but didn't keep it down all the time, still depends on weight position and throttle turn. I came up high one time today and it was just like it wasn't strapped down. I ran a 6.52 today in the same lane I almost lost it on the next run. I was happy, made it to the top 6 out of 28 bikes. My best reaction was a .538. I put the extensions on last week. |

| Re: Broke 6.6 on 1/8th finally Very nice times. I can run consistent 6.7's (10.3 in the 1/4) with a front strap and -1 front sprocket but like you said, even with the front strapped it will still wheelie fairly easily. I'd love to slam it front/rear and/or swingarm extensions and run a 9.9x through the stock exhaust. Maybe this winter when it cools down again. |
