Billet Stator Covers... Yae or Nae

Posted this in the racing section because I want racers answers. I have to replace the stator cover on an F4i after a recrnt crash, and Im looking at going to a Billet unit from Vortex or NRC. The only drawback I see is that a billet cover will make the weak point of an impact the engine cases and they are alot more expensive than OEM stator covers. So Anyone with experience have any insight on this orr seen mounting points on cases broken from strong covers?
Thanks,
Chris

I would get NRC covers unless you got the cash for the bling-bling ones. I've seen people crash w/ the NRC covers and they really hold up great. If you crash hard enough to crack the engine case, I don't thin anything is going to prevent that.
