What a friggin' idiot to try and wheelie a bike in the pits. Hope someone served up some whoopass for him...

Pit speed limit is walking pace.... not many abide by it but this was ridiculous.

Re: The other bad thing that happened at Sears Pt. this weekend

At the CCS races at Road America earlier this year, some dude lost control of a wheelie on an XR50 while riding through the paddock. The bike came within about 6 inches of my front stand. Had it knocked my bike off the stand, that dude wouldn't have gotten his toy back...

If someone can kill 6 peeps over a stolen XBox....surely it's okay to pack sand in someone's ass for crashing into your racebike...

Re: The other bad thing that happened at Sears Pt. this weekend

Consider an average race weekend at the track. Consider the fact that many racers bring their wife/GF and kids along as a family outing. Consider what would (and has) happened when some assclown decides to exceed the safe speed limit in the paddock, or tries to impress everybody (well, actually nobody) by pulling a wheelie and taking out a family member.

I have personally ejected at least 3 people from the track (via the track management or state police) for endangering the lives of track personnel and family members. Two of these incidents were at National events and one involved a major factory team member who decided he was above the rules everyone else has to obey.

Brake rotors can be replaced, but hit my wife or daughter while "just having a little fun" and I guarantee you, you won't be leaving under your own power . . .

I knew you ran race fuel in that scooter for a reason! Just in case you need to chase somebody down in the pits!

Amen! I've seen a lot of that crap in the pits, too. Every riders meeting they go over it, and every event someone is an idiot.

Yeah - I know those guys were ejected from the event and banned from racing with the AFM for the rest of the year. I believe they got a fine as well but it was not very much for what they did!

I know of several idiots who have thought it was a great idea to wheelie in the pit car park at Eastern Creek raceway, I also smiled with glee when I heard what happenned. One wrote off his RF 900, the other probably did the same to his bike (whatever it was) and, having ridden with the guy who owns the RF 900, he deserved it, and I'm glad no one else suffered through his act.

He is the sort of guy who decides to chase up a "Girls Ride Out" event (a ride aimed at getting a whole bunch of girls riding with like minded females -men are welcome, just leave the attitude at home), and after catching them, decided to "impress" the trailing girls (who were L and P platers - beginners in other words) by wheelie-ing right up behind them and then backing off, and repeating, then overtaking over double lines while wheelstanding. Idiot. was really embarassed to be there and decided to make my own way home with my riding buddy. The guy deserved the crash at Eastern Creek, hope he learned something.

Z...
