| Who races a 600rr here? If you have been racing your 600rr this year let me know the mods you made.
The good ones.
The ones that did not work well.
Thanks. |

| Re: Who races a 600rr here? I dont race a 600rr but im quit familiar with Hondas and racing in general... The very first thing i would get is a steering stabilzer and Suspension.. My biggest mistake when i started racing is that i was so worried about HP that i forget that eventually i would have to turn my bike Well this past weekend i was doing some suspension testing and was able to drop 3.5 seconds off of my fastest lap at Willow Springs. My lap timer said 1:28.4. I was grinning ear to ear So if i could recommend anything it would be suspension..

Adding some rear ride height makes the bike turn in quite a bit more and traction is awesome. The stability is still there mid corner, but I am still searching for more "on the brakes" stability... I plan on doing valves in the front over the winter, or if I can swing it, a new triple tree and a set of ohlins R/T forks...
The rearsets got the pegs off the deck, so that helps...
Supposedly, the full Arata and a good map transform the bike completely. I wouldn't know, still running the stocker because there is no ground clearance issues with the underseat exhaust... |
