I was still a dirt track wool then years from a license. But I did like Aldana's leathers
Edit: used to run a lot at Milan and Flint

One of the Riverside stories was about a guy that had crashed, and thought he was on one side of the track, but was on the other when he got up, and ran out onto the track, and was killed I believe.....either that or lost a leg.
He had about the same amount of crash stories as you .

Hi Ken, didn't know you're on here...cool! Well, I attempted to race on Sunday, lol.
Yeah, he was doing that all day as he rose up on his toes, lol. Good stuff!

I used to be on here all the time when I had my 954. Now I just stop in from time to time to say hi. I saw BDA's old 954 for sale on another board and it reminded me to drop by.
Good luck in WSMC, you'll be out of the 1:30's in no time

Drop by and say hi on my board when you get a chance . | You're looking good out there sir (notice the respect paid to senior citizens )
ummm....what about the 1:19 you supposedly did too.....
Not saying the 28 wasn't legit but picking the 28 out from the 1:38, 1:48, 1:19 and 2:03 on your timer is kinda dicey. The beacon was sure acting up Sat. I'm sure with some time out there you'll be doing consistant high 20s I'll be right there with ya ......

I believe you could run a 1:28 with much practice but I'll wait for the official confirmation. I'll stick with the 1:38 for now... |

Don't be jealous foo ....you need to stop crashing so you can run a few laps with me....well, at least try.
As for Ken's comment on the 1:38, that's really laughable since I passed the school while taking it easy on trashed tires at a 1:33 (according to the track people) .

Not jealous at all. Totally the opposite. If I pick anybody to be jealous of I'll pick Siglin, Will etc....that are quicker and let their riding do the talking... Mad props if you actually did a 1:28 (which is not impossible at all, Kato was down to that in his new racer school so you wouldn't be the first or last). I just think it's kinda funny when ya come in and try and convince me ya did a 1:19 (and you're serious) and then decide to go with a 1:28 amid all the other higher times on the timer that wasn't working correctly, after I informed ya the lap record is 1:18ish and the top experts are running 1:23s.

Are all timers a PITA? | I have no doubt you can/will/maybe did a 28. I'll take my 33 and 2 kids vs a 28 and 6! Good luck to ya, see ya out there and next time when you're telling the Dunlop guy (as in Sun) you're doing 25s and 26s at least have something to back it up.
WTF does Grattan have to do with it.....................
No one's doubting your ability Speed (at least me, as I've ridden with ya and seen ya ride and am friends with ya).......let your riding do the talking instead of the hot air.
PS my timer actually didn't have any problems after I set it right after the first session you asked about it and it was acting weird. I checked it out and found the problem. It was my fault with a setting. Axels had many problems with his XT while my mychron was working flawlessly....in some cases simple is good.

Everyone knows that I don't talk smack about false times knowingly, so take it as you will. You can personally time me and post up your results next time. I'm not sure what you are talking about with the Dunlop guy, but feel free to spread that around too if you like.
I'm new to lap timers, and I was excited to be getting into racing......Let the EGG be in my face for any missrepresented results .

Man, I love it when people doubt....... | Ummmmm--RRwanter isnt the only one that doubts your times----prolly best to pipe down until you have clue what you are talking about-----racing isnt all about cool stickers...if you were capable of doing 28s, you have an assload of 29s to back it up----not 38s and 2:01s |

Pipe down yourself. You wanna see, come on down! You know what trackho, I'm not the only one on the boards tired of all your high & mighty crap talking. I know my riding, and where I'm at on the times. You can stick your sticker comment right up your A$$!

| Re: Hey Abtech.... This is my last comment on this. Let's set things straight. I'm friends with Speed and we give each other crap. I didn't take exception with the 28, as I'm pretty sure it's possible for Speed to hit it as he was running in the 33s last time he was out (heck I was running 33s before my off in 8 and I'm slow... =)). The thing I had issue with was his pulling that time off a timer that was not working correctly either day and going with that as gospel.....that's all.... I had to give him crap on that after all the crap he's given me. The question wasn't his riding ability.........
What times were you running at thill Mike?
I'm out and no ones dragging me back in..........LMAO
PS... you do have to admit the sticker comment was pretty dang funny

| Re: Hey Abtech.... My two cents: My lap timer was unreliable at Grattan. Had me thinking for a while I did a 1:28 . Truth is that I might have broken into the mid-low 30's once. More than likely I was high-mid-30's both days.

Sometimes I learn stuff the hard way ......Hopefully, I'll get the timer thing worked out soon.
On another note, and closer to the topic......Danny was fired for cancelling the races without speaking to the track owner first according to RRW WSMC Race Director Farnsworth Fired For Cancelling Event Without Consulting Track Owner ......I like Danny, and hope he comes back.
