| Practice "Pays" off Made the trip to "The Rock", Rockingham dragway this weekend for the 4th race in the MIROCK Series. 1 of the 2 biggest races on the east coast.
Sat I finished in the top 32 ProET class and top 12 Street ET class.
Sunday I made it to the finals and lost trying to make the ZX-9 on NOS breakout....didn't happen, and lost by .0087 b/c I hit the breaks before the line. Oh well, it was a blast.
I stuck with my 9.67 (on motor) dial in all day.
Best run of the weekend was a 9.43 @ 139......couldn't get the bike to shift into 5th or 6th on NOS the first 2 tries. I took some kill out and it would go into 5th but not 6th. I was running 137-139 on motor, so with it not shifting, I lost the mph I had gained from the NOS.
1/8th mile was 6.16-6.22 @115-116 on motor, and 6.06-6.09 on NOS @ 122.

Yep, 954, and thanks! Sold the Busa back to my partner since his 1400 went down again. Hopefully the Blade will hold up.
60' times are from 1.52-1.58. Had a 1.480 2 weeks ago in Maryland. |

| Re: Practice "Pays" off Most excellent runs
Sounds like you could use a deeper undercut on 5th and 6th . . . |

Abtech: Would that deffinetely fix my 5th/6th problem? It goes into 5th with no problem on motor, but on spray it wouldn't go till I put another 40psi in the tank. |

I seem to remember a GSXR1100 turbo bike with a similar issue and the "extra" undercut resolved it. |

It's just the curve you are at with the torque dropping and the revs in the clouds makes the load on the box too much to make the shift. |

| Re: Practice "Pays" off Yeah, it was FBG that did the work for me. I'll give them a call, but won't be able to do anything with it till the end of the year. |
