Elena Meyers first female Moto GP champ?

There is a thread on BARF about this girl. Her dad runs the mini motorcycle racing (YSR50's) in Stockton, CA and has been helping her along with her racing there and now trying to help her with the full sized bikes. She has only been to Thunderhill raceway a handful of times and because she is 12 YEARS OLD, the AFM will not allow her to race with the adults. Recently she turned a lap time a full second faster on her RS125 than the AFM race winner in that race class during a Thunderhill track day. This girl is going places. Totally amazing. There are a couple good digs on our fellow .ORG'r Trackho too. All in good fun of course.

She was allowed to race at PIR in Oregon and I believe she won her second race there.

Just make sure she doesn't go to Suzuki, all that talent would be wasted.

Last time I saw ND4's bike someone was trying to put one of those agricultural triangles on the back of it after he had just finished plowing the front 40.....

But I didn't spend much time behind him...

I wish her all the best...But this ain't car racing. Much more phisically demanding. She'll never make it to MotoGP unless the sponsers get as strong as they are in Men's Golf. They'd have to be strong enough for MotoGP to through out the % rule in qualifying times.

I hope you're just trolling. Look at the little noodle-armed choir-boys that dominate the sport. I'm sure a skinny girl with a little physical conditioning could handle it. She could probably beat Biaggi in an arm-wrestle too.

Just remember MotoGP doesn't have to go by USA rules where you have to lower the bar until everyone who wants to make it is allowed. AMA is another beast altogether. They are obligated to take her or face litigation.

Riders need to be strong relative to their own weight. Not so much the bikes weight. JMO. Therefore, I can totally see a woman being very successful in bike racing.
