| Re: fasttrax endurance 9/27 just a quick post on the weekend's race. Well, it didn't go as smoothly as last time, but I did get a lot of laps in. Started the race and did about 40 minutes before I got push the bike back to the pits due to vaporlock (man am I Out Of Shape).
After that we took it very relaxed and just had fun out there. VTR996's knee was bothering him so I got to do another 45 minute stint. Thanks to him for the use of the bike (the mule) and to Abtech for letting us setup camp in his garage space! Yesterday I learned how old I'm getting as I felt like I was suffering from a hangover all day... anyways good time was had by all and now I know I can do an ironbutt if I feel dumb enough! |

| Re: fasttrax endurance 9/27 the bike died in the Esses - wasn't too hairy and the worst part was pushing it up the hill! I'm a big fan of fasttrax's philosophy and the endurance series - will definitely be there next year! |

| Re: fasttrax endurance 9/27 It was good to hang with you guys (and the girls) this weekend. Since it rained all night, there was only about 20 people left Sunday morning and not a single HW Twin in the paddock (other than the RC). We packed up and split around 9:30 AM. I don't know whether they actually ran any races, as several (of the 20) were loading up to leave when we rolled out.
Ahhh Michigan . . . |
