| Re: buysportbikes.com Well, I filed a complaint with the better business bureau today. I may as well file one with the attorney general, consumer protection. Maybe that would get his attention, since it would be a fraud case then. All of this because a scamming @sshole refuses to refund my $250.00 refundable deposit. Whatever it takes, right. |

| Re: buysportbikes.com The more agencies you file with, the better. A few years ago I was involved in a fraudulent scheme which syphoned about $600 out of my checking acct. I can't remember all of the agencies I contacted, but the State Atty. General and local city police were among them. It definitely got their attention and I retrieved my $$. |

| Re: buysportbikes.com Since we are on the topic - Do you have any recommendations, other than an attorney, for getting money/parts back from a fraudelant Buyer? Payment made with girlfriends credit card, GF disputes charges on Day 30...saying she did not authorize or buy the items (not shipped to her address either)? I had pretty much given up on retrieving anything (due to Attorney fees being as much as the parts - $2k plus), but this Topic gave me a little hope. Any help is much appreciated. |

| Another setback The idiot moved on me, but sent me a few more emails after the shiznit hit the fan. I have his GF's name, addy, and #, but I dont think that will help. All I have for him is his last addy, old home and cell #'s, and his first/last name. It sucks. |

| Yeah, I would say he is not a stranger to scamming. He changed his cell and home #, so the # he did have, reflects against his old address.
The conclusion I was led to was - your screwed, because it is going to cost you stress, hassle, and more money than you will get back (cost of Attorney and PI). Any other recommendations? |

| Re: buysportbikes.com I thought credit card companies would make good for at least 30 days after the fact. The only credit card I've ever had is through my credit union, and they will cover me for 90 days. |

| The problem lies in the fact of it being his GF's credit card and she disputed the charge - leaving me with no part and #### up the creek. This happened after they broke up and I get two different stories from each of them. He says she is a psycho and took the suspension with her, and she says he is a no-job-having thief that stole some of her stuff before he left. I had already sold something to this guy before and we had communicated for three months prior to this sale - that is why I trusted him enough to let him use a credit card that didnt belong to him, but matched the PayPal account he was using. |
