16 inch front tire

Looking for a good tire that will fit the CBR 900rr 16 inch front tire for race/track days,and would like to try a slick... thanx for any help

I have a 98 900RR too and I have been looking for trackday tyres in the 16inch front. I think the best ones you can get are Pirelli Diablo's and Metzeler M1 and M3. I am personally going to get the M3's front and back

I've seen some BT014's at the track too. Not sure which tire is best though.

I've tried the Diablo's and liked them till the rear kicked out from under me in mid turn, but I'm not sure if it was tire or rider... (prob rider more then tire) I'll check into the M3's and BT014's... thanks for the help

I've tracked the Metzlers, and they are the best I've tried so far, had bought a set of dunlops to try, but did the 17" conversion this winter!!! Will try a DOT set of something or other next season,.
