Re: Honda RS 125 racing

I had my race face on this weekend, but it did not help me get a win this weekend. 0-500cc novice the first race of the day only 10 riders showed up for the race and I was 2nd on the grid I just put in a new clutch so I would have no excuse for my normal bad start. The green flag drops and once again the last one to leave the start/finish. I get on the gas and I'm in 7th place being held up over turn 4 I work my way pass 3 other riders to 4th I get out powered down the back straight and as I come around turn 9 the red flag is waving some one went down in turn 2.

They have us come up to the start finish but don't tell us to kill the bikes so I sit in fear that my bike is going to over heat as the temp goes up to 79. The starter said that race would only be 4 laps at the restart, and I get a better start but I'm still last to leave the start/finish and I find my self in 7th again going over turn 4. The next 3 laps I battle for 4th & 5th spot. I make my way to 5th as I come out of turn 9 I'm watching a 4 way battle for 1st as all the riders cross the start finish at about the same time. I know that I have a chance to out brake most of them into turn 1 and I do moving into 2 place for about 5 seconds because I missed a shift and was out the bikes power band I slid back to 4th. I was able to over take one rider around 5 and move up to 3rd again, but soon as we got over turn 6 and down the back straight his hp advantage took over. I was able to get on his back wheel out of turn 9 but my fat A$$ was not able to get the draft down the stright. So that is another 4th place at Willow that's 3 now.

That thing looks like a lot of fun. I'd probably break it though.
