CBR 1000RR Track day suspension settings HELP!!!!!!

I need help setting up my 2004 CBR 1000 for its fiirst track day for testing. The main help i need is setting up my suspension. I am 82k in weight and 5.4 tall.

Best place to start is setting the static sag. You'll need a friend or two to help you with that as you need to be sitting on the bike.

Doing a Google search on setting static sag will get your numerous hits with lots of helpful instructions on how to do it.

Adjusting the compression and rebound damping has a lot to do with your weight, riding style, tires, track, etc and is something you'll need to play with to get the best results for you and your bike.

check with the club sponsoring the track day. they'll probably have a suspension guy on hand.
