I say "Game Over" Mr. Yates. There are plenty of other talented guys who could take his place. Racing doesn't need him. If they banned him forever, it would be just fine with me. Career over, done.

I can't see banishment. I don't think he should be punished as if the worst did happen. But, he should no doubt be punished severly,and kicked in the beanbag.

I like Yates as a rider, but his actions after the crash were embarrassing for the entire roadracing community. I really think that the fines were on par, but the suspension was about 2-4 races too short.

On the surface I would agree with your comment about short suspension, but his suspended (next) meet is a double header, and coupled with no points from Daytona means he is out of any hopes of the Championship. Fitting punishment I think.
