| New Fireblade takes pole.. in the first round for British Superbikes. Michael Rutter rode to pole postion beating the 999 of Sean Emmett. Even Riyoh, who has never raced there came in on second row of the grid. Bodes well.  | |

| Re: New Fireblade takes pole.. BSB SPOILER If you don't know the British Superbike results yet and are planning to watch it on Grandstand next weekend, look away now...  The fireblades were in a class of their own in tricky conditions in race 1, won by miles - Rutter 1st, Kiyonari 2nd. Race 2 was fully dry and much more closely contested. Rutter might have won but made a slight mistake and ended up 3rd, Kiyonari 2nd, John Reynolds on the GSXR1000 1st  The attached pic is Rutter leading race 1. |
