Not suprising though it is disipointing for a legitimate sport. People tend to have tunnel vision after something like this. Almost like stunnas giving the motorcycle enthusiast a negative view. Especially when it's in the news.

What is sad is that most of the motorcycle ignorant viewers that will watch this will believe every single syllable that comes through their TV. Why? Cause if 60 minutes reports it, it MUST be true and accurate. Just like every other report from any other news agency. They never lie or slant the truth for ratings.

It blows my mind how much faith people place in what they are told on TV. Morons.

And yet I'd have to guess the incidence of injury on SX style tracks is very high. Ref. the posts on the IOM TT - I wonder if we really manage to take a reasonable approach to risk in racing and if there is not room to greatly reduce the dangers??
