MotoGP LeMans - SPOILER

Only caught the last five laps, but it was nice and close.

The order -
1 - Gibernau
2 Checa
3 - Biaggi
4 - Rossi
5 - Edwards
It's good to see the front of the race head 4 or five people capable of winning almost tro the last lap, with the minor placings in the balance 'till pretty much the last corner. The season is getting damn exciting

Looking forward to the next round...

Z...

What a great season!

What's gotten into Careless Chucker? 2nd place and first Yamaha. Is he simply benefitting from Rossi-inspired changes to the bike?

Max is fighting back and not cracking under pressure...and smoooth as ever.

Everybody's lookin' competetive.

Can't wait for the next one!

Hands up those who thought that Rossi may have deliberatly outbraked himself and jumped the corner on the last lap.........after seeing how much ground he gained a few laps earlier in the race.

Re: MotoGP LeMans - SPOILER

I thought it was fascinating that around lap 20, the Yamahas began to go through their tires to a greater extent than the Hondas, and Gibernau left Checa, Biaggi held off Rossi, and Edwards passed Melandri. In short order.

Gotta give credit to Max, he didn't (completely) lose his **** when Rossi was knocking on the door. He seems mentally tougher than in the past in this respect.

Re: MotoGP LeMans - SPOILER

It was a great race Rossi and Biaggi kicking up tire smoke as they touched!!! But I'm curious as to way Nakano, Hopkins and Hayden are being fined. The press release said that they stoped on the track. I know Hayden was going backwards but I didn't think he stopped, well he was something like -43 secs off....

They were fined for stopping on the track during the Saturday QP...prior to the race. Why they stopped

I'm curious if Hopper's going to get an additional fine for throwing gravel at Hodgsen. I realize he's upset he went down, but it's not like he got torpedoed in turn 1...he just got caught up when Hodgsen/Nakano tangled. I like Hopper, but I'm consistently suprised that he's got a MotoGP ride year after year.

I agree... he's always hurt or getting in trouble. Although it didn't look like he threw the gravel at Hodgson, so much as he just threw the gravel around. I am getting tired of seeing tantrums though. It started with Yates and now yesterday I saw three top Moto GP riders acting like children when they had a failure or crash.... Chit happens, accept it and move on!

They were practicing starts.
