| Anyone still watch WSBK? Just curious, who still watch WSBK now that all the big riders are gone.
But I think it's a good thing now that WSBK have sort of gone back to it's roots (race for privateers and importer teams). Ducati is pretty much the only full factory team there. In the 90s and early 2000s WSBK is full of works bike that besides looking somewhat like bikes you or I could buy, they really are completely different bikes.
I remember I read somewhere HRC had once said the RC45s are almost as expensive to make as the GP NSR500s.
Anyways, I think the Japanese 4s will catch up to Ducati soon and makes for some great racing, albeit at a lower level. |

| Re: Anyone still watch WSBK? I still watch...it's fun not knowing who is going to be on top each week although it's a little more predictable than at the start of the season. I wish Chili could string some finishes together...need the Fila boys to have some DNF's to tighten things back up. All in all, pretty good racing though. Misano sucked but the other rounds have been good. |

| Re: Anyone still watch WSBK? Yep I still watch it, although they need to de-restrict the 4's, still biased to the twins . Laconi will probably run away with it now that he's got his stuff together. |

| Re: Anyone still watch WSBK? Not so much the SBK, only if I have time but I do watch the Super Sport Races, but this ban on the 600rr might change that as well.
Cheers

When WSB follows Motogp though it looks like the novice group on a local trackday apart from the ridiculous blue smoke pouring off the torured Pirellis that can just about handle vee twin grunt but are useless when asked to do the business for a 4cyl. bike.
Lets be thankful that AMA and BSB still allow tyre freedom of choice. Why don't all you USA bikers start a petition to get Motogp back to the States ? |

Barber Motorsports and Road America are still possibilities, with Barber being the most aggressive about brining MotoGP to the states. |

| Re: Anyone still watch WSBK? the last round at Oscherleben(sp?) was pretty good...Haga-San won the first race and was on his way to a double when his Ducati, was well, typical Ducati...it blew up....<sorry Chain and bwhip...didn't mean that as a cut on you guys>....giving Laconi the default win....the rounds have been pretty good this year...nice to see racing when you don't know who is gonna win every time out..... |
