| Re: Who Is Crazier? IOM TT That's a no-brainer - the participants! You phuck up as a participant, and you're very likely dead. As a spectator, you at least have the luxury/option of ducking. |

| Re: Who Is Crazier? IOM TT The spectators can watch from the inside of a corner - the participants have to ride through it. |

| Re: Who Is Crazier? IOM TT Another interesting poll might be "who is crazier, track riders/racers or street riders?" |

| Re: Who Is Crazier? IOM TT Anybody remember an article years ago, in Motorcyclist I believe, on the board track racing they used to do in the US? Racing on a banked wooden oval track. That was sheer craziness too! Can you imagine getting splinters from the track?!

I've been on several wooden tracks and there is no risk of splinters at all. Pretty interesting set-ups if you get the chance to see it. |

| Re: Who Is Crazier? IOM TT I have been to the Lehigh Valley Velodrome on numerous occasions to spectate. It is a site to see. No brakes, tight packs, drafting, slingshotting and flesh hitting pavement. |

| Re: Who Is Crazier? IOM TT This was way, way, way back. Can't remember for sure but might have even been in the 1940's? I don't think the motocycles had brakes either. Tracks were a put up-tear down affair that traveled.
