One podium doesn't mean squat. 1,2,3 have all been on the top step of the podium this year, and last year. 47 points in 7 races, that is a little too optimistic. He is great, but he is not on that level yet, if he can nail the setup for the next 7 races, then maybe, maybe he can get lucky. But he will need mistakes from Max or Sete. Sook, Sook, Sook, 2nd or 3rd? Come on, this isn't WSB and he not chasing Troy. He is chasing the top 3 riders in the world, and he has one of the most experienced riders in the field right behind him in the form of Alex Barros. Plus he has Nicky 12 points back who has scored more points in the past 3 weeks than any other rider. Your a knuckle head if you think Colin is going to advance that much by the end of the season. LOL, too optimistic, kinda like the Micron Slip-on making 10+hp, lol.
I'm not saying that I don't want to see it happen, just trying to keep your head out of the clouds, I know podiums can cause delusional thoughts. I'm sure theres a bunch of Tamada fans saying the same thing you are, but he only has 56 points. He is the only guy out of the top 3 to win this year, and he is in 10th. |

In the top 3, I wouldn't think so, but right there with Colin, Nicky, and Alex in the standings. I don't think any of them have showed they are at the level of Max, Sete, and Vale. But they are without doubt on the verge of riding on that next level. They need to finish on the podium 7+ times in a season to be in the top 3 in this premier class. Nicky, Makoto, and Colin only have 7 podiums between them. The depth in this field really is amazing, to be arguing if the guys in 10-4 are at top 3 level, its kinda funny. Any one of the 10-4 guys would win any other road race championship in dominating fashion, but in MotoGP they're 50-90 points back from the top 3. Soon though, well maybe if they make Rossi ride a WCM next year. |

| Re: Donnington - SPOILER Hahahaha. Well, if it isn't the guy that was in total disbelief that I could know Colin himself. Hahaha.
You forget that Colin has had the lowest spec Honda in the field and that Nicky is on THE premier team in the paddock. If Honda didn't screwthem all, and they continued on their 03 bikes, OR Colin and his team could have worked out the probs from the start (which by the way, I believe is just a matter of Michelin bringing the right tyres for him) he'd be in front of both of the top 2 at the moment, without doubt. Barros has got nuthin', never has never will and has developed the RCV into the ground so far. But anyway, wait and see................... |

| Re: Donnington - SPOILER Ok Sook, how about a little wager then? You think Colin will take top 3 in the standings this year? Thats what you said, right? If he doesn't finish top 3, you send me a new Arata full exhaust. If he does finish top 3, i'll send you the cost of what the Arata would cost you. One of top 3 could get injured leaving the door right open, or he could be faced with 47 points in 7 races.
I like those odds, lets gamble. |
