I like Zemke. He is a lot like Colin Edwards in personality. He knows he has a job to do, but nobody said you had to take it 'end of the world' serious. He is always goofing off. From what I have heard he is one of the most approachable guys in the pits when it comes to the factory riders. |

| Yeah, I would have to agree. *Out of all the factory riders I met last year, Zemke was definately the friendliest and most personable. *There was no hint of him being bothered by his fans. *You gotta love that. |

Ran into a slow duc well it IS sloduc!
Got Jake Zemke's autograph
Anyone up for some Chili and Greer <---ok so this isn't a good pic. We were at the Triumph tent when my hubby says 'isn't that David Alan Greer?' (from 'In Living Color'.
It was and he was with P. Francisco Chili. LOL
HUGE pic of KYLE's booth!
HUGE pic of Turn 4 just before 'someone' went down (race 2, just few hours ago.)
Was trying to meet up with tigerblade and another forum member, but we didn't find each other!! - Honda tent was crowded with autographing Miguel, Jake, etc.
Pics not so interesting as my camera couldn't get the racing shots! Was busy watching rather than taking pics anyway. * Quote Let me guess, Jake was the friendliest out of the bunch you talked to...
YES! Super sweet friendly guy! Went to the Erion tent and he wasn't there. *
So we kept walking and saw the Shoei tent. My hubby needed a part for it. I asked about the new X-11 to see if they had one in XS. They said 'try this one'. It was kinda sweaty inside and I turn it around and it said 'Jake' on the back. (He was actually standing right in front of me the whole time.). Smiles alot. Loves racing for the fun of it.
Kurtis was very nice too. Actually some racers were just hanging around - even in the vendor areas.
Aaron Yates almost ran me over on his scooter, honking.
E. Bostron (prior to his last race) was just walking by the food tents as well. |

| Re: So I met a couple of friends today..... Thats the one thing i love about motorcycle racing. They are all so aproachable. I met Nicky and thought that is was really cool that he talked to me about racing, how he was feeling out on the track, sibling rivalrys... all kindsa stuff.
But by far the highlight of my meeting racers is having a sit down convo with Pascal (been a fan of his since i can remember) Ended with 'Stop by my tent next time your at a race.' |

| I second that. I met Pascal at Sears Point when he and Corser were on the FBF team. Corser was preoccupied (like I'd probably be) and aloof, but Picotte acted like he had nothing better to do than shoot the breeze with me. He's a cool dude.
Thanks for the pics, RC! |

| Re: So I met a couple of friends today..... Zemke, E-Boz and Pridmore get my vote as the nicest guys in the paddock (among the factory/semi-factory guys). Some non-racers I got to meet this weekend included Mitch Boehm (Motorcyclist) and Kent Kunitsugu (Sport Rider). Both were very cool.
