| Hayden staying with Repsol for 2005 Got this off another site. Not sure about accuracy.
According to ElMundoDeportivo.com, Hayden has already signed to remain at Repsol-HRC for 2005 (length of contract is not known). However, the second HRC rider has not yet been decided.
The two most talked about riders to replace Alex Barros are: Makoto Tamada and Sete Gibernau. However, HRC faces a great dilemma if they bring either rider. By choosing Tamada, Repsol, a Spanish oil company, would be without a Spaniard in the team. While choosing Gibernau, would mean they would have to deal with the legalities involved with breaking Gibernau’s contract with Telefonica-Moviestar.
Other rumors include American Colin Edwards leaving Honda. Before the Portuguese GP, there were rumors of Edwards going to Yamaha for 2005. However, the current rumor has him at Ducati, perhaps replacing Australian Troy Bayliss.

| Re: Hayden staying with Repsol for 2005 last thing I read was that they wanted Xaus over at the Repsol squad.
Colin was asked about yam, and that Rossi wanted to get him over there, he said he is negotiating w/ Gresini right now.
Yup, silly season is in effect |

| Re: Hayden staying with Repsol for 2005 God I love the silly season.
I want to see Hayden stay with repsol, Xaus would be an awesome addition and you know Repsol wants a Spanish rider!
I want to see Hopkins and KRJR finally kick Suzuki's ass into submission and give them a bike we all know Suzuki can build!
I want Biaggi and Edwards to team up on the Ducati's just to have them both on the same bike would be fun. Maybe on Kawi's to make them appriciate the rides they have!
Bayliss would do well with Tamada, and I really wanna see Axel make up with Slash and the guys so we can have the orginal G&R back |

| Re: Hayden staying with Repsol for 2005 If Honda get their **** sorted and support the right guys, which after this year, they will hopefully do, Colin will be right up there and kickin arse. Have you seen Rossi jump up and down with anyone else on the podium after a race. He KNOWS how good CE is, and knows that if he's there on a good bike, he'll be hard to beat. Funny...............so do I. |
