On a side note just to stir the
I think it would be fun to give him a repesol honda for a while to see if its him or his current bike. I think in all reality he has himself believing that he cant do it on anything less then the best machine and thats what is partly holding him back. |

Case in-point is Rossi. He is (was?) on a sub-par machine, but he is an incredible rider. Generally the other Yamaha's are around 50 seconds back in the race.
I wonder if CEII would rather be a big fish in a little pond or a little fish in an ocean?
Of course, that is just my opinion - I could be wrong (and its silly season!).

| Re: BOMBSHELL.....EDWARDS TO BACK WSBK!!?!?! That is just a silly rumor because 2WF is the only one to post it. The rumor comes from Gresini possibly running another team in WSBK next year
He is beating both Repsol boys in the championship, perhaps they should ship Zombieboy or Gayden over to WSBK, after all CE is the only Honda rider in GP to score points at every round.

Yep, yet there are still two honda riders way ahead of him. Maybe conservatively scoring points isn't always the best way to go. |

Does anyone remember Colin getting out of that Ducati contract in WSBK? Do you also remember that he'd have to ride for them if he came back to that series?
Do you think Michelin would let him take his testing experience over to Pirelli? |

Of course, that is just my opinion - I could be wrong (and its silly season!). | Case in Point - Matt Maldin. He made the choice to stay and rein over AMA when he could very easily move up the ladder!
But I think that everyone is overlooking, the real thing here and that is, Chili's team to race ZX-10s and Frankie himself wanting a Honda ride!!! |

| Re: BOMBSHELL.....EDWARDS TO BACK WSBK!!?!?! I can understand fan loyalty for CE, but why is do you always compare him to Hayden instead of the rest of the field.....
Apparently 7th from a guy that has raced internationally and knows all the tracks is better than a 5th from another guy in his first season.... Quote: |

He hasn't been chunking the bike, he needs to go over to Haga's trailer and teach him a thing or two about a thing or two. I'd say he has been doing what I though he'd do all season, run in the back on the best bike out there. 5th isn't the podium but it's a good finish for him. Him getting on the podium, that is a stretch. |

| Re: BOMBSHELL.....EDWARDS TO BACK WSBK!!?!?! Don't bother Booth. Let the masses believe what they want. The difference is, they THINK, and we KNOW. Haha.
Facts. Colin is on the oldest RCV out there.
Colin is beating the two factory RCV riders in points.
Colin wiped the floor with all of them in testing when they all had the same bikes, with the old tyres. I saw a HRC boss get on one knee at PI and thank Colin for beating Rossi's times for that test.....they were that worried about it, so don't come at me with the "it's a test, they don't try". HRC guys MADE them go out to beat Rossi, only Colin Did.
On a track that didn't worry him that much, Colin spanked ALL the Honda riders, still, on the oldest bike.
Considering what he's got, considering that Honda won't give him **** now, coz they know he'll take points from Sete, EVEN though he's a preferred Honda rider, he ain't sooked NEARLY enough.
Nedro, that you don't KNOW that says you know fuk all. So why bother?
If Colin goes back to wsbk it HAS to be on a Ducati. It's in contract
Apparently, the team is pretty happy with Colins performance this year given the bike he's on, and are keen to keep him. We should also know after this weekend if he's there for sure. I'll keep you posted. But you guys believe what you like......................the bikes are all the same, Honda gives them all what they want when they want it, and Rossi would be kicking arse more than ever if he was still at Honda. Yep. Whatever. |
