| Uh oh, Rossi drama, Baketech should like this. I'm taking this from one of the informative guys on CE's site. It sounds ubelievable, but it's happening from what I can tell. This will be a huge racing episode that they'll be writing about. Quote:
Valentino Rossi may be starting the race this afternoon from the back of the grid after an appeal went to race control about Rossi's crew 'doctoring' Rossi's grid slot. They are accused of taking a scooter and doing multiple burnouts to get some rubber down on his 8th spot on the grid to aid him on the start.
Ducati, Proton and Gresini have been stated as having signed the protest and the protest sheet has been signed by an official to take the protest to race control and the organisers.
The penalty and a confirmation of the severity is still under review.
Updates as they come.

Here we go..
Official release has REPSOL HONDA being the team that filed the complaint (how ironic!), this was appealed by Gauloises Fortuna Yamaha, and the original penalty of six seconds given by Race Control was UPHELD.
Rossi will start from the back of the grid today.

If he does it, I'll forget the Agostini comparisons, as he'd be the undisputed best of all time.
Here is some more breaking news, the bitches crew tried to the same thing so the bitch will be starting back there with Rossi. 2002 all over again, the Italian battle again, Roman vs. Italian back there
No riders will get to move up slots due to this. The first corner at this track will be just like Motegi, expect a wreck, the line going into it isn't any good.
Ladies and gentlemen, we got ourselves a motorcycle race, drama, new track, an American consistently the fastest in practice on race tires, the champion and the bitch in the rear, I can hear the motors revvin now
LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE............ |
