| Rossi rulez Rossi heads to his most favourite of all MotoGP circuits, Phillip Island, this weekend knowing that a top two finish would guarantee him a fourth consecutive MotoGP title, and after winning the past three races held at the Australian circuit, then nobody would bet against him.
"I love Phillip Island, it's one of my favourites and I've always managed to ride well there," Rossi said. "We did a lot of testing there during the winter and got some good results, however, the bike has changed so much since then."

It seems that once he gets in the lead, he is by himself. Then the race turns to who ever is in third through fifth place. I would think that a good race would be three or four riders mixing it up for first place. It just seems that it never happens in motogp.
My opinion... |

My opinion... | Good point. Have you caught many WSB races this yr? Much closer races in general |

I have caught a few. I like watching them but I am tired of seeing all of those Ducatis (no offense to the pasta lovers). I like watching Chris V. and the Haga guy. Haga seems to be a great rider. It does not matter where he is in the lineup. He will eventually be close to the front.
I enjoy watching the AMA guys as well. Although it's was getting a little boring watching Mladin winning most of the time. |

Have you ever watched a Formula 1 race? Now that is some dominance that leads to boredom....MotoGP is way closer and fun to watch...I mean rossi was only leading by 14 points before sepang. |

My opinion... | No. You just have a case of the 'I'm American, I always root for the underog' syndrome. You should be able to enjoy a true champion round the circuits. Even last year, when he wasted the field all year long, you just have to marvel at it, you won't see it again, at least not for many years to come.
In the 500cc class, he'd often come from 10th, 11th, to win, picking rider by rider off. Last year he outran a penalty, ran off the track and came back to get 2nd. The guy is incredible.
You want that type of racing, just turn on World Superbike with the rest of the punters |

And there is nothing wrong with WSB besides the fact that there are to many fazoli machines "as chain calls them" |

I have only been watching cycle racing this year. I am just learning about cycle racing. I have no idea who the "underdog" is at this point. I am looking at these races as an uninformed novice. Rossi seems to be the greatest thing on the track, and for some time apparently. My thought was just an observation on my part not meant to criticise anybody. |
