| Re: Phillip Island SPOILER! Dang...just read some of the commentary over at CEs site....sounds like it was a great race and CE got a bad start (as usual) but was moving up the ranks pretty quick after about the 5th lap or so. I won't be able to watch it for a week!...off to London tomorrow afternoon for the week. |

Hayden did a good race as well, damn good.
Today was all about Rossi, wow! |

| Re: Phillip Island SPOILER! Wow, Rossi is a great rider, there can be no doubt of that now, if there ever was any.
I was one of the nay-sayers at the beginning of the season. I'm a believer now.
Good to see Sete fight to the end, another great rider also.
Looks like next year should be a Colin, and Rossi show. now that Colin is on an A machine. Can't wait for next year already.

| Re: Phillip Island SPOILER! did anyone else find his t-shirt message taking it a bit too far??
i may not know what went down between Rossi and HRC boss
when he left however telling honda off like that.....
unless someone else interprets it better than me, my Italian isn't
fluent, I read CHE SPETTACOLO and if i'm right, it translates to
"TAKE THAT"... or my 2nd guess would be "SPECTACULAR" but
I say that is my 2nd guess cuz Rossi being the character he is....
anyhow, loved the race, my mates are a bit dissapointed, they're
off to Valencia in a couple of days and wanted the championship
to be decided there, I think now that Rossi has won, he's probably
going to do something crazy for Valencia... CAN'T WAIT!!!!! |

Who cares, it's just his usual antics, I'm just glad the guy has a sense of humor. He tries to have fun in a series where people don't, much too serious.
If he wasn't any good, it would look like he's an idiot, but with those results you have to cut the guy some slack. He has won 6 championships now, the last 4 in a row, and the dude is only 25.

| Re: Phillip Island SPOILER! I'll admit I didn't think Rossi had a reasonable chance at the title at the beginning of the year. He is definitely a true champion. Now let's see him do it on a Kwaker.
Edwards and Hayden both rode good races. Edwards' start wasn't the best, and Hayden's crappy qualifying time made his start horrible as well.
The freight train they were in had quite the race, and eventually brought them to the front. Was quite the race overall, and I hope the finale is just as good - well, better. |

I remember watching him live at the Leceister Sq. fan event and wondering
why he is seemingly so calm and collected yet has flamboyance in his style in the world of MotoGP. Then I realized who cares, he can do anything he wants, he's King Vale!
sigh... what a year it's been... |

And Yamaha has to be congratulated for their exceptional cooperation with him and Burgess. HRC should select four managers to commit seppukku immediately.

| Re: Phillip Island SPOILER! Bar none one of the best races ever! Last lap was spectacular.... I was questioning Rossi's title at the begining of the year. I thought he'd win a few races, but not the title! He is the man and has nothing else to prove to anyone period!
Rossi
Did anyone else think that Sete's reaction was a bit on the unprofessional side. I mean I know that he and Rossi were pretty good friends up until Qatar, but he acted like a hurt child after the race. You got beat Sete fair and square. I congratulate him for taking it to Rossi all year, but he just got beat. It isn't like he got beat by Cleatus Roberts or something, he lost to a rare talent, a legend in the making. So take it like a man, bury the hatchet and move on! |

| Re: Phillip Island SPOILER! Yeah he wasn't happy. They had a press conference that you can watch, where Rossi was happy to have Edwards as a team mate next year. The reporter asked the Rockstar what he thought about it, and he wasn't as gracious as Rossi with his statements. Can't blame him for being pissed, he got beat fair and square by somebody on a lesser bike. |

| Re: Phillip Island SPOILER! I too thought Rossi would struggle on the Yammie - I bought into the HRC line that it was more bike and team than rider. I'm a believer! Rossi is simply in a class by himself! |

I hate Rossi but thats only cause he's a year older than me and is now 4 time MotoGP champ and overall a 6 time world champ. I love watching him race even if most of the time he's just so far ahead, its fun to watch how far ahead he pulls away most of the time. The last lap here was the best racing I've seen.
